Nouvelle publication : Une synthèse et point de vue sur le Réservoir Utile des sols

Everything about the Soil Available Water Capacity concept and beyond.

Soils are the reservoir from which plants draw for their water supply. The soils ability to provide water to plant is the Available Water Capacity (AWC), whose evaluation does not meet consensus between soil scientists and agronomists. Scientists Cousin et al. recently reviewed the concepts and methods attached to AWC. They proposed a transversal approach to precise definitions according to the context (lab or field evaluation, modelling) and recommended future directions for hybridizing the currently available methods.
