MultiSimLib/OptimiSTICS

Library of Matlab functions to perform multi-simulations, analysis of uncertainty, sensitivity analysis, evaluation and estimation of the parameters of the STICS model.

Origin

These tools have been developed within the UMR EMMAH. The UMR AGIR (INRA, Toulouse Centre) and the Agroclim unit (INRA, Avignon Centre) have collaborated in the design and development of the library OptimiSTICS.

For whom?

MultSimLib and OptimiSTICS are intended for users of the STICS model.

To do what ?

puce-vert-vert
Multi-simulations :automatic completion of a set of simulations of the model for a set of situations and recuperation of results corresponding results to the variables / selected dates.

puce-vert-vert
Uncertainty Anlaysis : generating a sample of values of model input parameters selected from provided laws distributions, realization of corresponding simulations and recovery of sample values for the variables values / selected dates.

puce-vert-vert
Sensitivity analysis: Calculation of the main and total sensitivity indices (by the Extended FAST method) of variables / dates selected in relation to the input parameters of the selected model.

puce-vert-vert
Evaluation : realization of simulations on a set of situations, calculation of statistics and plotted of graphs comparing results obtained with the provided comments.

puce-vert-vert
Parameter estimation: estimation of input parameters of the selected model from observations provided for different situations. Several methods are available (frequentist and bayesian) as well as several statistical error models (with or without correlation, fixed or estimated variances, transformation log...). The estimation process can be split into several steps which will be automatically carried out sequentially. "
