Tenure-track junior professor chair

A junior professor chair in hydrogeophysics is opened this year by INRAE within the EMMAH research unit in Avignon, France.

This chair is aimed at PhDs with a few years of post-doctoral experience and who have a Habilitation to Direct Research (HDR, which is a french university diploma, allowing people to supervise PHD) or are likely to have one within the next three years. The proposed contract is for 3 years, with the prospect to get a permanent position as a 2nd class Research Director at the end of this period. The person recruited will be required to give 60 hours of lectures at Avignon University in the Physics and Hydrogeology departments. The contract will be supported by thesis grants and a functioning and equipment budget.
